The Clerk of the Superior Court in Maricopa County remains open for business. The Clerk's Office is consistently monitoring information being provided by Maricopa County and the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) in regard to the coronavirus public health emergency, and out of an abundance of caution, has adjusted several service areas in order to protect the health and safety of our citizens and employees.

Hours of Operation

With the exception of the Southeast location, all of our service facilities remain open for business. (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday). Find Location

Access to Records

Those seeking copies of public records are encouraged to avoid in-person visits. You may request copies of public records via email, phone, fax, online or by mail. The public access terminals located at the Downtown Customer Service Center, Northeast Regional Facility, and Northwest Regional Facility are currently NOT accessible to the public. Get Records

Protective Orders

The Clerk's Counter in the Law Library Resource Center (LLRC) will only be available for protective order matters and injunctions against harassment, until further notice. Get an Order of Protection.

Filing Documents

Those who seek to file documents with the courts are encouraged to electronically file (in eFile-applicable case types), use external filing depository boxes, or to mail their filings. Please see a list of our filing depository boxes below. File Documents

  • Downtown Phoenix | Map
    • 4th avenue entrance to the 301 West Jefferson County Administration Building.
  • Mesa | Map
    • South entrance of the Southeast Court Complex at 222 E. Javelina.
  • Northeast Regional Center | Map
    • Main entrance of the Northeast Regional Center at  18380 N. 40th St.
  • Northwest Regional Center | Map
    • Main entrance of the Northwest Regional Center at 14264 West Tierra Buena Lane in Surprise.

Marriage Licenses and Passports

Marriage licenses are available via appointment only, but appointments are limited. Passport services are currently not being provided. Customers are encouraged to utilize our Marriage License by Mail feature. Get a Marriage License
